Local Doctor Opens Modern Dermatology Practice
Dr. Heba Abdulla announces the opening of her Dermatology private practice in Franklin Lakes, NJ.
Franklin Lakes, NJ, January 06, 2009 — Residents of North Jersey in need of skin care won’t have far to go for quality treatment. On December 16th, Dr. Heba Abdulla, joined by her family, medical staff, and community members, celebrated the Grand Opening of her private Dermatology practice, the Lakes Skin Centre, in Franklin Lakes, NJ.
Dr. Abdulla treats conditions of the skin, hair, and nails, such as acne, alopecia, eczema, and skin cancer. As well, she performs a number of rejuvenation procedures, including laser treatments, chemical peels, botox, and dermal fillers restylane and juvederm. Her state-of-the-art medical office provides patients with the skill and experience of a professional staff in a calm, relaxing environment. To accommodate the busy schedules of its patients, the Lakes Skin Centre offers evening and weekend hours.
About Dr. Abdulla:
Dr. Abdulla is Board Certified in Dermatology and licensed in New York and New Jersey. She graduated as a salutatorian from Fair Lawn High School, and went on to earn her undergraduate degree with Honors from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Abdulla then attained her Medical Degree and Residency training at the State University of New York’s Downstate Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year. After residency, Dr. Abdulla joined a large Dermatology group in River Edge, NJ, while holding a staff position at Chilton Memorial Hospital. Recently, she was appointed to Columbia University Medical Center as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology. Dr. Abdulla is an accomplished physician, researcher, and educator who believes that, in order to excel in any medical field, one must integrate traditional treatments with new technology.
A native of Bergen County, herself, Dr. Abdulla recently moved into the childhood home of her husband, Dr. Kareem Eltaki, to raise their two children and resume their careers. “We are thrilled about moving back home and being able to serve the community we live in,” commented Dr. Abdulla.
