Monongya, Jesse 18K Gold Turtle Bracelet With Diamonds and Inlay

Monongya, Jesse (b. 1952-2024) Handmade 18k gold turtle bracelet with diamonds and an inlaid hand design by renowned Navajo/Hopi artist Jesse Monongya, created using tufa casting. Features intricate texture, a coral centerpiece, and a symbolic turtle design representing creation, protection, and Turtle Island in Native American culture. The centered set turtle rotates in either direction 360 degrees and is set with diamond accents, while the bottom of the turtle, Jesse, is set with turquoise and coral accent eyes.   This 18k gold bracelet is tufa cast with a secondary texture. I asked Jesse’s Son, Bo Monongye, and he explained the process as “For this bracelet, he carved a kiln oven brick to add a second style of texture on top of the traditional texture achieved through the tufa casting process”.  Dimensions: 1″ 15/16th taper to 1/4th W Bracelet Size: 5″ 9/16th Bracelet Opening: 1″
