Did Aahana land a role for her resemblance to Shweta Bachchan?

Aahana Kumra, the Delhi girl known for her sharp looks and svelte figure auditioned for a role in Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet.. though Anurag cast her for Sony TV’s Yudh. ‘Taruni’ who plays Yudhisthir Sikarwar’s(Amitabh Bachchan) daughter is an oncologist, who is passionate and has a no-nonsense outlook towards life. Speaking on working with Mr. Bachchan, Aahana says, “He is the most humble person I have ever met. I still remember our first interaction when he asked me on the first day of shoot, “What do you know about Taruni?” I explained to him whatever I understood of her. Then he explained his perspective beautifully, which gave a different dimension to my character. He takes cares of me like his own daughter on the sets.”
Though a little gossip from the sets reveal that Aahana has often been compared to Shweta (Bachchan’s daughter) for her striking similarities. While Aahana just blushes away to these compliments.. we couldn’t help notice it too! No wonder Mr. Bachchan treats her like his own daughter on sets as well!
