EIJAZ KHAN FINDS A ROLE MODEL IN
Television actor Eijaz Khan and film actor Jimmy Shergill seem to be the best buds in town these days. Both the talented performers will be seen in pivotal roles in upcoming political drama Shorgul and there’s more to this camaraderie than what meets the eye. During an incident on sets, Eijaz Khan was discriminated because of his creed and for not being co-operative enough to participate in a Hindu ceremony for one of the scenes and Jimmy turned a real life hero when he came to Eijaz’s rescue and decided to use a body double for the scene.
Eijaz Khan states, “I’m impressed with Jimmy’s sense of humour and he’s constantly keeping it light on the sets with his funny one liners and pranks. He knows how to convert a negative into a positive. I consider him my older brother now and someday I’d like to be as diverse as he is. He’s always willing to lend a helping hand and stand up for what’s right and in this industry that matters the most.”
