HELPING SENIORS Stafford Chiropractic Clinic‘s annual Patient Appreciation Day collected hurricane preparedness items that will be distributed to area seniors by Fort Bend Seniors. Shown with some of the donated items are, from

Each year, Dr. John Felker and his staff provide free services for patients while benefiting a local nonprofit organization.
This year, Stafford Chiropractic asked patients to donate hurricane preparedness items for seniors in Fort Bend County. Items donated included bottles of water, batteries, non-perishable food items and cash. The donations have been given to Fort Bend Seniors, and will be distributed to area senior citizens for this year‘s hurricane season. Fort Bend Seniors provides assistance to area senior citizens, including a Meals on Wheels program that feeds more than 800 seniors daily from seven site locations throughout Fort Bend County and one site in Waller County. Client statistics have shown that 85 percent of the agency‘s clients live at or below the poverty level. Comments are closed.
