To rehabilitate the patient physically and functionally, the world wide option is to use a free flap for reconstruction and start adjuvant Radiation and Chemotherapy, without losing time. We perform 160- 180 free flap reconstructions per annum for Head and Neck Cancers, which is the highest figure in India. Such extensive and challenging surgeries are not being performed by any other centre in North India with impactable results”.

He said “34.5 % patients reported with early disease (stage I & II) and 65% reported late (stage III & IVA). Out of these, 97% of early cases and 92 % of late cases are disease free and are enjoying normal life”.
