Emergination Africa the non-profit education organization is proud to announce the upcoming launch of its Crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo on the 18th August 2015.
[[12 August 2015—Harare Zimbabwe]]—The campaign, which launches in the coming days, will promote Emergination Africa’s vision of advancing Africa’s transformation through global skill transfers and educational mentorship.
Emergination Africa for students plans to create video conferencing hubs on Zimbabwean highschool campuses that provide student’s accessto mentors, and professionals from around the world that will provide career advice, and support indeveloping their college applicationsand selecting the career of their dreams.
When asked about the reason behind the Organization's mission,Co-founderand Executive Director Taku Machirori — himself a graduate of Morehouse College inAtlanta, and now working for Deloitte Consulting in San Francisco said, “We are passionate about seeing Africa become self sufficient through education and job creation.”
FellowCo-founder and Operations Director Prince Abudu, a 4th year Computer Science and Mathematics student majorat Morehouse College in Atlanta, went on to say, “The future of Africa is all of our responsibility and for those of us that have trail blazed a path and found a way to advance ourselves and develop the skills required to compete on a global scale, we must enable the next generation to follow in our footsteps”
