(Free Press Release) Signcraft, West Drayton, Middx. have developed a revolutionary, all plastic, property sign board that is lighter, safer and fully re-cycleable.

Currently, most commercial agency boards are constructed from timber frames and thin plastic faces (previously, hardboard faces were used) and fixed with nails; the signs can be quite heavy. Using specially sourced industrial grade fluted plastic, the Signcraft process replaces cumbersome timber frames, making the signage lighter, safer and readily re-cycleable.

Signcraft‘s installations of commercial agency signboards are always secured with screws, in accordance with their strict health and safety code. It also ensures minimal damage to the vendor‘s property and has proven to be far safer in storm conditions with fewer incidents of damage and injury.

In an effort to reduce costs, some signage companies re-use the frames of sign boards by replacing the printed plastic sign, a practice that was universal within the industry for years but is now considered unsafe. Signcraft‘s policy is to use signs on a once only basis, to ensure that the product is fit for use and will remain in good condition.

Commenting on the ´green‘ issue, Signcraft‘s Managing Director Bob Colwell says “In line with the quest for greener technology, Signcraft has also invested in UV digital printing, ahead of EU legislation that will come into force in the future to reduce the use of damaging solvents that are associated with conventional digital printing."

Signcraft invests in sound training for staff. Each of their vehicles is assigned a team of two experienced and enthusiastic fitters who are tasked with resolving all source-specific challenges, where possible, in order to minimise time wastage and ensure the best possible presentation of the signs.

Signcraft supports their signage policy with a full year‘s public liability insurance cover.
