Ratan Rajput returns to television as the lead in &TV’s show Santoshi Maa
Actress Ratan Rajput became a household name with the show Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Keejo and then with Bigg Boss. After an absence for a while, the actress is all set to return to the small screen with a lead role in &TV’s new socio-mythological show Santoshi Maa. To be produced by Rashmi Sharma, the show is inspired by the 1975 cult classic Jai Santoshi Maa, that focused on a devout worshipper of Goddess Santoshi who turns to the Goddess in the most difficult times and is saved by divine intervention given her piety. Ratan will be be seen as the protagonist and as the worshipper of Mata Santoshi, who is blessed with help every time. Says Ratan — Yes I am returning to television with the show Santoshi Maa. I am essaying the character of a devoted ‘bhakt’ who believes in Santoshi Maa with all her heart. "I'm a big believer in Santoshi Maa so I couldn't say no to the show. Mythology shows are always watched eagerly by the audiences and here the channel and production house are also great so I'm sure it's going to be a great experience”
