Based in Denver, Re/max Holdings filed for an IPO (initial public offering) this week after being a private firm for more than 40 years. This move has been made in context of continuous improvement in the housing market business. 

In July, homes sales grew to the maximum level in the past three years. There was an increment of 5.6% in existing homes sales in July and it reached a yearly figure of 5.39 million.
