Ekta Kapoor and Milan Luthria team up again after Once Upon A Time In Mumbaaito create a bold, humorous and dazzling multi-starrer set in the 80's south film industry.

Billed as Moulin Rouge meets Himmatwala in terms of its look, The Dirty Picturechronicles the romantic journey of the erstwhile screen sensation, Silk Smitha.

Following the widespread curiosity around the film and its look, the makers exclusively revealed a never-seen-before look of Vidya in character, which met with an overwhelming response.

Reacting to her first never-seen-before avatar, Vidya remarked, "Silk gave men sleepless nights! Silk is every woman's wild side and yet she's soft where it matters!"

She winks, "I've always loved my curves and curves love Silk!"
Vidya re-unites with Nasseruddin Shah in The Dirty Picture after their crackling chemistry in the 2010 hit, Ishqiya. Adding to the film's incredible star power are Tusshar and Emraan Hashmi who play the key romantic interests in Silk's life. This is the first time that audiences will see Vidya's pairings with them.

Vishal & Shekhar have composed the soundtrack for the keenly anticipated musical, which releases later this year.
