UKS Mobility has announced Motability Scheme to buy new mobility scooter and powered wheelchairs.

The sales page spokesperson of UKS Mobility speaks about the Motability Scheme, “UK has a population of 1.7 million disabled people who get higher rate mobility and disability allowance and around 16,000 people receive War Pensioner‘s Supplement Mobility. So customers who either receive Higher Rate Mobility Allowance or the War Pensioner‘s Mobility supplement will be eligible for the Motability scheme, which actually provides vehicle solution to ensure that the customers are mobile as well as independent.

Speaking about the present status of the scheme he says, “At present, around 470,000 disabled customers have opted to pay their allowances to our Mobility Scheme to compensate the expense of owning a mobility scooter/powered wheelchair or car through our hire purchase plans.”

Talking more about the simplicity of their partnership with Motability Scheme and the wide range of products he says: “We are delighted as the scheme is easy to join; all that the customers need to do for this is to exchange all or a partial amount of their allowance to get their hands on a brand mobility scooter or powered wheelchair. In the process, the customer might be paying up lesser amount than the mobility allowance itself. Also if the entire allowance is not directed towards the scheme, the customers continue to receive the remaining part of the allowance as usual.

The customers can choose from our wide range of products that include mobility scooters, powered wheelchairs and their many accessories.

The customers can also choose from two options that will help to convert the mobility allowance into a mobility solution and they are- Contract hire and Hire Purchase. The Contract Hire option is rather a worry-free mobility solution and it includes features such as, mobility scooters/powered wheelchair, insurance cover, extended warranty, breakdown cover, tyres, batteries, servicing and repairs. Under the Hire Purchase option customers can buy their own vehicles and do so once the agreement is completed. This plan also includes insurance of mobility scooters/powered wheelchairs.”

He reiterates: “These facilities can be availed without waiting lists or credit checks.”

Speaking of the company‘s service, price and quality the sales head said, “Our range of products include branded mobility aids such as wheelchairs and electric scooters such as Shoprider, Roma, Pride, Free Rider and Days Medical. There are special offers on some of the products. Our onsite service engineers offer regular checks and fix any issues our customers might face, and any complaints will be attended within 24 hrs. There are free trials on mobile scooter and stairlift surveys.”
