V-Guard triumphs North Regional AIMA Young Manager’s Contest 2013

Bangalore: After a challenging battle of ideas and wits, V-Guard Industries Ltd, the country’s premier electronic and electrical major swept away the North regional rounds of the 39th National Competition for young Managers (NCYM) and emerged as the proud champions. NCYM is conducted annually since 1974 by All India Management Association (AIMA) on a pan India basis to recognize competitive excellence among young managers. The theme for this year’s competition is ‘Inspired Leadership for Turbulent Times and the Power of Youth’.


The V-Guard team included Mr. Vipin Kumar Haridasan, Manager-R&D, Electro Mechanical Division; Mr. John Mathew Sebastian, Assistant Manager — HR (Talent Acquisition & Development Team); and Mr. Gowtham Premchand, Executive Trainee — HR.


Top corporate firms from across India participated for the competition. Over the years NCYM has continued to gain in strength and popularity among the corporates and organizations have gradually recognized its value as a useful tool to groom their young managerial talent for higher responsibilities. Post this win, V-Guard will now compete with other zonal winners in the Grand finale on 31st August, 2013 in New Delhi.
