Ludhiana August , 2014: With a mission to capture 10% market share in the emerging Punjab telecom market and tostrengthen its dealer-brand relationship in the state, Videocon Mobile Phones Division, from the house of a 6 billion dollar Videocon Group, hosted one of its biggest distributor meet in the state at Hotel Maharaja Regency, Ludhiana.

Videocon’s top officials Mr. Jerold Pereira CEO, Videocon Mobile Phones along with Mr. Nikhil Garg, North Sales Head felicitated more than 150 dealers & distributors of the state. At this one-of-its-kind dealer connect initiative, the company officials also discussed the way forward for the organization, and formulated forward-looking strategies for the brand. By strengthening its dealer connect, Videocon Mobile Phones aspires to reach greater consumer base which is in line with its aim of becoming one amongst the top three smartphone brands in the country by 2015.

The event was aimed at fostering greater cooperation between the brand and the channel partners, thus strengthening brand presence in the Punjab telecom market. The officials also devised plans and future strategies to strengthen brand presence and introduce its upcoming mobile phone range in the aspirational market. The assembled partners discussed the current state of affairs in the blossoming telecom industry of the country and brainstormed on methods to strengthen the sector. The platform also discussed the organization’s market aspirations and goals while understanding the ground challenges in the evolving Punjab market.
