ROCKER BOX COVER SEAL  –  SILICONE for de HAVILLAND GIPSY MAJOR      –   Our silicone rubber gaskets are made from aerospace mechanical         grade AMS  silicone and designed to withstand temperatures up to         400 degrees Fahrenheit.       –   Therefore, they will not break down and deform or crack up like         cork or neoprene.       –   Our gaskets seal uneven and warped surfaces and          eliminate corrosion.    –   Gaskets are 100% reusable. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~   Fits:              de Havilland Gipsy  Major   Part #:          RG-1302-42-1 1 each – Price is per gasket. Silicone gasket material is 1/8″ thick and 3/16″ in width. Gasket is flexible to fit a rectangular shape. Reusable.   These seals are available in a set of four and found under part # RG-1302-42-4   INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:  –   Wash the cover and cylinder head surfaces with solvent.    –   Remove all traces of oil.  –   The gasket must be installed DRY  –  DO NOT use oil or lube of any type  –  TORQUE to 15 – 20 INCH pounds.   DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.  It causes the gasket to squeeze or bulge out.   TO REUSE GASKET:  –  Wash gasket in hot soapy water.  –  Rinse well and dry thoroughly.     –  Re-install using the above installation instructions.   Proudly made in the USA.
