ROCKER COVER GASKET  –  Silicone for de Havilland Gipsy Airplane   Our silicone rubber gaskets are made from aerospace mechanical  grade AMS silicone and designed to withstand temperatures  up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.   Our gaskets seal uneven and warped surfaces, and eliminate corrosion.   Therefore the gaskets will not break down and deform or crack up like cork or neoprene.    Gaskets are 100% reusable. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~   Fits:    de Havilland Gipsy Queen – Gipsy Six Part #:       RG-71294 One each Silicone gasket is 3/32″ thick. Reusable   INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:    Wash the cover and cylinder head surfaces with solvent.      Remove all traces of oil.    The gasket must be installed  DRY.      TORQUE:   15 to 20  INCH pounds.               DO NOT use oil or lube of any type.      DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.  It causes the gasket to squeeze or bulge out.   TO REUSE GASKET:    Wash gasket in hot soapy water.    Rinse well and dry thoroughly.       Re-install using the above installation instructions.   Proudly made in the USA.
