Description Beautiful overnight satchel produced in collaboration with three artisans in Guatemala. The cotton durable cloth is woven by Francisco Esquina. José Sicay Tzina, a Tz’utujil Mayan embroidery artist in Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala who works expertly with a manual Singer sewing machine to make unparalleled embroidery (a far cry from computerized machine embroidery that normally comes to mind and comes easily undone!). José’s passion for this craft has led to showcasing more weaving and embroidery talent in his town. Then the bag goes to Mateo for final assembly. This is a great overnight bag or large tote for everyday use; every single bag’s embroidery is one-of-a-kind. The outer fabric is handwoven from durable, 100% cotton while the bottom and handles are of genuine chocolate-brown suede leather, with magnetic and zippered closures plus a zippered pocket inside the fully-lined interior.
