Al Qoyawayma (b.1938) Al Qoyawayma made this stylized Hopi Corn Maiden bronze sculpture in 1985. Today, he is recognized for his highly detailed pottery designs. Qöyawayma is a mechanical engineer who has contributed to the development of inertial guidance systems and is a co-founder of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society.
